Final Illustration

This illustration is going to go around the shop. It is a contrast to the bold blocky typeface I have used for the signage.

Final Signs

These are my final signs that will go around the store. I decided to use black and white because I think they will stand out better in the shop against the bright colours of the clothes.

The type on the wall adds a graphical element. I am going to have some type on the walls for this brief.

These toilet signs are interesting and use a similar style of illustration that I would like to use for this brief, which is single colour, with an ornate, feminine feel to it.

Nike

Typographic signage inside a Nike Store. I like the impact it has on the environment with the bold text and metallic color. The idea of having text directly on the wall is what I like the most.

I like how leather has being used and the design has being sown on to it. This has given me an idea that I could look at different unconventional materials for my designs.

Edwards Food Menu

This is a poster I passed advertising the new food menu at Edwards bar. It caught my eye because it is different in color and style to other posters created aimed at that particular target audience. It is interesting to see that it has been pared down from the original Russian Constructivist style to fit with the audience by not having the type in as many different directions. The colors that it has used suggest a new healthier, more organic menu which is probably what was intended.
